Vintage Miniature Gas Cylinder

This is another variant of miniature gas cylinder as the center base is much wider and shorter as compared to the previous one which I shared about here. Most of these gas cylinders were used for steamboat cooking or even cooking on board the boat.



For smaller gas cylinder, you will need a special gas regulator to get this item connected and working. I still cannot find the brand of this gas cylinder. If you ever came across this kind of miniature gas cylinder, do let me know in the comments section whats are the brands out there. I am taking a smart guess that the sticker on the gas cylinder had been peeled off.



At the handle of the cylinder, there are some words and markings stamped on it. The words stamped on it are used as a reference to indicate the maximum and minimum pressure of the tank. The holes on the handle are also used for tying up the gas cylinder.



Overall, the condition of the tank is quite good except that the brand is unknown. This item can be use as a collectible item as there are no presence of spots of rust. Besides that, in my collection of miniature gas tank, I have another miniature gas tank which is different from all my postings and I will share it in my next future post.

Konica Autoreflex T2

Konica Autoreflex T2 is not really a popular camera in the past unlike Canon or Nikon. One feature of this camera which I like the most is the solid metal finishing. It makes the camera looks more vintage and older feel.  The front view of the camera This camera also comes with 1.4 57mm Hexanon lens which takes good and clear pictures. Hexanon lens are known for it's quality and sharpness.  Camera like this are less expensive compared to Nikon F2, Nikon FE and Canon A1. The price range for a Konica Autoreflex T2 is about 200 SGD around that pricing.  The Konica lens cap is very flimsy and it can drop off anytime. Vintage USHA fan

This fan was originally bought in 1946 right after world war 2, when my great grandma bought the shop. I believe that time, after the war broke out, many of the shops when through renovations and many of them were rebuilt back again. So that is how I predict the age and the year of this fan. This fan is placed in the living room upstairs of the old shop. Having a ceiling fan like this was really a luxury in the past, as many couldn't afford it. The most common brand ceiling fan in the 40s were GEC fan. USHA is a cheaper version of the GEC fan as it is made in India. The quality of the USHA fan is as good as the quality of the GEC fan. This fan ball bearing have not been changed for about 40 years and it is still in good working condition. The fan can still spin at max speed without making any noise.
