Here is a postcard done by Hope Church to promote the event Alter Ego in the year 2018. I went for the event organised by my church that time. That event is about of real life stories of people who experience Christ transformation in them.  It was really a good sharing and I wouldn't forget my friend's sharing live during that event. Overall, it was an excellent event and many lives were touched on that day. Talking about this card, the designer of the card even made things more creative too, by allowing the sender to post these cards to their friends too !!!

Here is a collector item as postcard from famous hotel are getting scare. Normally people will buy postcard and share with their friends or family regarding about their trip. On top of that when buying these postcards, we have the tendency to buy their local stamps and post it from the country that we visit itself.  Some creative people would buy the postcards and the stamp together and sent it to themselves just in order to collect both the postcard and the stamps too. The photo in the background shows the view of the hotel at Hong Kong Disneyland. This card is easily dated in the early 2000s and it is still in great mint condition. There are 2 designs here that I have in my collection and the design of the back of the cards are the same for all. 

At the charity, it aims to ask participants or visitors to purchase desserts from those participating restaurants and they will donate 5 Singapore dollars to National University Hospital. I know some of you who are reading my blog post are hungry and wanted to go to the event to crave something sweet, but I regret to tell you that the event is over since 31st Oct 2012. HEHEHE.... This is the back of the card. There is a lot of space for you to write your message to invite your friends.

Here is an advertisement postcard dated back in December 2000. Ellane is a company that sells gas equipment and cooking stove in Singapore. There is an offer printed on the front page of the card as it encourage people to buy their products to win big lucky draws. At the back, it shows all the price of the items.

Here is a vintage postcard from First Choice at Cold Storage dated back to the early 2000s. This is a promotion card where you can use this card to share the details and offer of the products available to your friends.  What is something interesting about this card is that there is a recipe printed at the back which encourages you to use this product for baking.

The first card is from San Yu Adventist School dated back in 2001. It is quite common back in the past for school to give their school theme postcards to students. I bet some boys would use this card as a love message and act like a name card to pass to their crushes they like. Most of school theme postcards are commonly use as love letters in the past. Here is the back image of this card, where it shows the school details and phone number. Here is another card from Nanyang Girls High School back in the year 2008.  I know that the front picture looks a bit scary for some of you, but there is a meaning behind it. The theme for this card is mixed media and the details of the message can be found behind of the card. Another card in my collection is also from Nanyang Junior College and the theme for this card is oil on canvas. This card is very well drawn and I like the design very much. The meaning of the theme used can be found again at the back of the card with clear explanation....

Here is a hot collectible item especially if you are a postcard collector like me. You can see the advertisement back in the early 2000s, where McDonald in Singapore used to have their McSpaghetti. Not long later, McSpaghetti is removed away from the menu due to unknown reasons.  Honestly, I didn't even get a chance to ever try McSpaghetti in my life and not sure how it taste like. The price is 3.95 SGD and it is consider very cheap. At the back of the card, there is a lot of space for you to write your message to your love ones or friends and share the beauty of McDonald to them. This card is dated back to Oct 2002 which is 18 years ago from the time of posting.

Here is an old postcard which is from the year 2002 by Hotel Phoenix. I always remember back in the past if you stay in high class hotels, there will be some souvenir for you to take back.  This case here is using their postcard to encourage people to come and enjoy their hotel ballroom buffet.

Planetmg is a music platform for music lovers to visit back in the early 2000s. At Planetmg, you can download a huge variety of hot hits to hear. The website is no longer available and has been taken down. This postcard is dated back to the year 2001. At the back of the card, there is plenty of space for one to write their message on the card itself. 

Well, I bet you seldom see telco postcard like this being distributed around these days. The year of the distribution for this postcard is from the year 2001, which is 19 year ago. Unfortunately, I only have one out of the six design of this StarHub postcard. This card aims at you helping their company to promote their great offers to your friends and family. You can even peel off the dotted lines at the back and stick your friend's photo which will appear on the front of the card at the position where the person's face is.

Saving energy is indeed important as mentioned in this postcard. This card was given out in conjunction with ECO Action Day that falls on 5th June 2012. At the back of the card, there are tips shared on how to save energy and also at the top, it describes further on what does Eco Action Day means. 

In conjunction with the grand opening of " The star performing Arts Centre " this postcard leaflet was given out in streets and in streets and in schools. It is quite rare to see 2 postcards like these still being attached and not thorn a part into 2. This postcard brings you back to the year 2012 and aims at you for helping to share the message with your friends. There is also a QR code printed at the back of the card for people who wanted to know further about the event. These days, invitation cards are made online for more convenience and cost savings.

Attracted by the design and the layout of the postcard that features a photo taken in front of a HDB block. House of photography (HOP) gave out this postcard in schools to encourage people to join and visit their showcase. This card is great for inviting friends who enjoy photography and wanted to know more about it. This postcard aims to encourage people to volunteer themselves to help children in need.  Front of the card Back of the card Also it comes with a QR code to provide more details for people who are interested in it. When taking picture of this card, I faced some technical difficulties as my camera keeps on scanning the QR code instead of the overall picture of the card. Moove was organised by South West Community Development council to encourage youths to join this dancing club. There was also attractive prizes to be won during the event. This card was previously written by a friend of mine to another friend and that why I blank out the card for privacy reasons.  There is also a QR code for scanning at the back of the card. This card is dated back to the year 2012.

Tott is a shop that sells kitchenware, kitchen tools and baking needs. There are 2 branches at Singapore and one of them is at Suntec City and the other one is at Century Square, Tampines. Tott store found a great opportunity to advertise their services by using postcards. Before Facebook is widely use, it is common to receive postcards like this as a token of advertisement to share with your friends. This is a rare postcard from Sony. You can see all the nostalgic images of old Walkman, Hifi set and MP3 player shown on the front of the card. You can even see that this card was launch in conjunction of the introducing of the Sony mini disc Walkman.  There are a lot of space for you to write your message at the back of the card   

Styled like a real painted portrait, this postcard features a real smaller size painting done by Rasha. There were 3 designs of this postcard up for collection but, only collected 2 of them in my collection. First Design Second design Rashaeleyan is an art workshop founded by Rasha Elevan back in the 2009 (around there). She has been actively working as an associate producer for Walt Disney television in Singapore before becoming a teacher at her workshop. The shop is still around and it could be found at 8 Woking Road #01-01, 138690, Singapore. Here is the back of the card This is not a sponsor post by the way. Lifeskills And Lifestyles release this postcard in the year 2012 to promote modern living in the community back then. That event lasted a span of 2 months in period. Here is the back of the card and on the right-hand side top, there is a list of events for people to join in.

AVA stands for Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore. This postcard was given out in conjunction of the event, "Animals our community " dated back in the year 2012. This postcard enables you to past the message around to your friends regarding about this event and also spread awareness about animals in the society. This card was given out to students at various school across Singapore at that time. Besides the design above, there is another 2 more of them for collectors 2nd design and 3rd design The back of the card for all the 3 designs are the same.
