Vintage Aluminium Pot

Aluminium pot like this one shown here are rare. This pot has been used by my grandmother for the past 50 years and she took good care of this pot despite the age. 


The brand of the pot is "Three Rings Brand"


It is about 3.2 litres to 4 litres capacity pot with a spanning of 22 cm diameter. My grandmother would use this pot for many purpose such as boiling asam laksa, soup and herbal water back in the past when she got the strength to do cooking. 


Therefore, this is a sharing only, on how pots looks like in the 60s. Today in 2020, pots are all made from stainless steel material and aluminium pots is never been seen in production ever again.

Konica Autoreflex T2

Konica Autoreflex T2 is not really a popular camera in the past unlike Canon or Nikon. One feature of this camera which I like the most is the solid metal finishing. It makes the camera looks more vintage and older feel.  The front view of the camera This camera also comes with 1.4 57mm Hexanon lens which takes good and clear pictures. Hexanon lens are known for it's quality and sharpness.  Camera like this are less expensive compared to Nikon F2, Nikon FE and Canon A1. The price range for a Konica Autoreflex T2 is about 200 SGD around that pricing.  The Konica lens cap is very flimsy and it can drop off anytime. Vintage USHA fan

This fan was originally bought in 1946 right after world war 2, when my great grandma bought the shop. I believe that time, after the war broke out, many of the shops when through renovations and many of them were rebuilt back again. So that is how I predict the age and the year of this fan. This fan is placed in the living room upstairs of the old shop. Having a ceiling fan like this was really a luxury in the past, as many couldn't afford it. The most common brand ceiling fan in the 40s were GEC fan. USHA is a cheaper version of the GEC fan as it is made in India. The quality of the USHA fan is as good as the quality of the GEC fan. This fan ball bearing have not been changed for about 40 years and it is still in good working condition. The fan can still spin at max speed without making any noise.
