Vintage M Power Radiator Coolant

This is my first time seeing a radiator coolant being shaped in a 3 piece metal can with a ring to open the lid like how you open a normal soda can drink.

It is a rare collectible item as all radiator coolant are placed in plastic containers these days unlike the past.

From far, it looks like a normal soda drink can. This M power radiator coolant is made in United States of America. It could be marketed in the 80s here in Malaysia and Singapore. Based on a google search, the company is no longer exist and it could have been replace or disappeared long ago.

Rare 4 digit phone number paper bag

When my mum did her cleaning up at home, she across a big bunch of vintage paper bags left a in a cupboard which is owned by my grandmother. To my excitement, I did a quick browse through all the paper bags, hoping to find some rare advertisements printed on the paper bags. During the search, my eyes were suddenly captured by the number of digits of the telephone number. I was really surprised to see 4 digit phone number printed on the paper bags. 4 digit phone number on paper bags does mean it is old and also very rare to get one. An easy guess, all of these paper bags could be from the late 50s or early 60s. I am also mind blown to see that most of the paper bags that my grandma had kept are still in a very good condition I bet she have kept all these for the future generations to view them.

Vintage Aluminum Basin

Aluminum basin are rarer than enamel basin and they are mostly use in the 60s and 70s. Aluminum basin are much more costly than enamel basin due to it's material used. Aluminum are known for it's light weight properties. One bad thing about these aluminum basin is that it gets dent very easily as you can see in the photos. From the photos, I bet you can see the damage it has received over the few decades. I think you can even slowly count the number of dent marks which can be use to indicate how many times it has dropped. I don't know whats the brand of this basin as there was no sticker or stamp mark to indicate the brand. Considering it has the same diameter and height of the basin, aluminum basin are much more lighter in weight than enamel basin as aluminum basin weighs about 255 grams whereas enamel basin weighs about 750 grams. Vintage Blue and White Rice Grain Porcelain plates

9Some of us had grown up eating from these type of blue and white porcelain plates but had no idea why it is design like these. There are some even saw these kind of plates being used in hawker centers or food courts where famous dishes like char kuey teow are being served on top of them.   Let me tell you the story behind these plates, so you don't need to dig thru the whole library of webpages to find it. These plates are known as rice gran plates or ling long plates which is a common name called back in China which stands for exquisite. These plates originated from Jingdezhen, which is known as the porcelain capital for China. The plates originated back to the early 19th century, but these white grain rice version came to southeast Asia in the mid 70s to the late 90s.
