Vintage Draining Ladle

I found this rare and beautiful draining ladle which estimates to be about 40 years old. The condition of the item is still new. One interesting fact about this vintage kitchenware is that, the handle is made from solid bamboo unlike the ones we see today.

This utensil always reminds me about having a piping hot noodle soup as the draining ladle is commonly used to scoop up the noodles from the soup and drying them.

The draining part is made from stainless steel and it is securely tighten to the bamboo handle. This draining ladle measures 55 cm in length.

It is good to have this as a collection item if you want to decorate your kitchen or dinning room in a vintage way. You can try to hang them up on the wall or pull them lying down flat on the display shelf.
