Vintage Medicine Pot

I always remember that my grandmother would boil traditional Chinese medicine inside this little pot here and put it over the charcoal stove. 


This pot is so small that it can nicely fit in 1 can of mushroom soup inside it. The diameter of the pot is about 15 cm and it is super small. 


Besides that, using this pot can be quite troublesome too, as you might need a special grill, if you want to use this kind of pot to place over the normal gas stove as chances of it getting stuck is high.


It is made from Aluminum and the handle is made from iron painted black in colour. Overall, it is a good display piece for people who wants to collect this item for kitchen or cafe decorations.

Konica Autoreflex T2

Konica Autoreflex T2 is not really a popular camera in the past unlike Canon or Nikon. One feature of this camera which I like the most is the solid metal finishing. It makes the camera looks more vintage and older feel.  The front view of the camera This camera also comes with 1.4 57mm Hexanon lens which takes good and clear pictures. Hexanon lens are known for it's quality and sharpness.  Camera like this are less expensive compared to Nikon F2, Nikon FE and Canon A1. The price range for a Konica Autoreflex T2 is about 200 SGD around that pricing.  The Konica lens cap is very flimsy and it can drop off anytime. Vintage USHA fan

This fan was originally bought in 1946 right after world war 2, when my great grandma bought the shop. I believe that time, after the war broke out, many of the shops when through renovations and many of them were rebuilt back again. So that is how I predict the age and the year of this fan. This fan is placed in the living room upstairs of the old shop. Having a ceiling fan like this was really a luxury in the past, as many couldn't afford it. The most common brand ceiling fan in the 40s were GEC fan. USHA is a cheaper version of the GEC fan as it is made in India. The quality of the USHA fan is as good as the quality of the GEC fan. This fan ball bearing have not been changed for about 40 years and it is still in good working condition. The fan can still spin at max speed without making any noise.
