Vintage miniature bottle collection
These miniature alcoholic bottle drinks are great collectibles among everybody. These miniature collection here is owned by my uncle. You can see there are many beautiful and cute little liquor bottles from famous brand such as Martell, Johnnie walker, DOM and many more to be listed.
These bottles are also known as sample bottles, where a customer can get to taste the wine or liquor before purchasing them. Miniature bottles have been around since the 40s and the 50s and it was very popular in liquor shops from the 70s to the 80s.
Miniature bottles are much rarer to be found these days as most of the liquor companies stop their production of miniature.
Liquor tasting are done where the retailer will open a sample bottle (same size as the ones selling on the shelves) and pour into the glass for the client to taste.
If you want to know how many bottles is needed for a full complete collection of miniature liquor, I would say easily 2000 bottles or more. It is almost impossible to find people who have collected a full set of them that includes bottles distributed for certain countries around the world. Currently, there is only about 60 bottles in my uncle's collection here.
