Vintage hanging display cupboard set

This is a much smaller version of a display cupboard which is now left hanging on the wall of my grandma's old shop. Originally used for keeping old collectible items like coin boxes and now it is empty. The wood of this piece here is still in a good shape, but the colorful wood coated layer is slowly peeling off a bit. As the ages goes by, the layer of the wood itself and the thin coated surface layer will wear out and peel off over time. If you want to make sure everything still stays intact, one must super glue lightly on the edge of the wood.

This is a rare and nice looking hanging display cupboard

The shelves of this cupboard is made from 100% real glass and it is very fragile. Over time, this glass wears thin as it is being exposed to the glass cleaner from time to time. The sliding glass door of this cupboard is also very hard to be taken down and until today, I am not so sure how to take down the sliding glass without breaking it.

Besides the glass which are hard to take down, the wood which is supporting the cupboard is also very hard to be taken down. The reason is the screws were all tightly fitted into the wooden wall and also the wood screws have been rusted. Many care is also needed to remove the glass shelves too.

This cupboard comes with another larger standing cupboard for matching purpose too.

This piece here is for sale

The larger standing cupboard was then place in my great grandmother's room. This cupboard here is very uniquely built. There is a secret compartment located in the center of this cupboard where you first need to open the two front doors of this cupboard and you will see it. It is basically a drawer hiding inside this cupboard. This cupboard stands at a height of 2.05 meters height and 0.78 meter wide.

Both of these cupboards, I am letting it go at 200 Singapore dollars for this two cupboards here. The only need that you need is a transporter to come and collect this item from my aunt's shop here.
