Managing enamelware collection

Managing your enamelware collection is very important in order to extend the condition and preserve the value of the item. In general, buyers and collectors are willing to pay more for a very good condition item

With that in mind, I will share with you tips on how to manage an enamelware collection :)

Wash and clean your enamelware with a soft sponge and detergent. Do not use metal abrasive cleaners or steel wool pads as this will damage and scratch the enamelware.

Unsuitable to clean enamelware as this can damage the surface of the enamelware

Handle your enamelware carefully and do not drop it. Dropping your enamelware will cause chipping off of paint and may result in rusting. 

Avoid cracking your enamelware as this can result in rust
A chipped off part from the enamelware
Do not store high acidic food in enamelware as this can damage the paint of the ware. Enamelware from the past were painted with lead based paint and acidic food will react with the lead in the paint. 

Lastly, always ensure that your enamelware are always clean and dry to avoid patches of stain :)
