Vintage Bento Sugar packaging

Image
I found this vintage sugar plastic packaging that was used as a bag to store my electrical wires and I found that it is good to share about it. This sugar company distributes rock sugar to clients across Malaysia but the company Herto M Sdn Bhd in Selangor, Malaysia. That company is no longer in operation anymore as I couldn't find it on Google search. There is even an expiry date of the sugar printed on the bag itself. This is a discovery finding actually and I never notice it at first until I read the words.

Vintage Davis LCD Projector

Image
Here is a vintage portable LCD projector from the year 1997. The connection from the PC to the projector is still the same as the current ones which uses VGA cable. This projector can still work on all computers including window 10 if you have a VGA connector. You won't need a driver for this projector as it is a plug and use version. Overall, the quality of this projector is still very high and this unit is still working until today. This projector are the modern type that are commonly use in office and home theatre.  These LCD projector is the successor of the overhead projector and the Kodak photo projector. This projector cost thousands of dollars when they first came out in the market and it is really a luxury to own them as a home theater system back then. I got this from a friend of mine, who owns it for more than 20 years already as he decided to upgrade his one. This projector comes with a bag for carrying purpose too. Here are the details regarding this Davis projec

Vintage Compaq keyboard

Image
We once live in a world where we commonly use keyboards like these. This keyboard use those old purple coloured connection wire. These purple head connection wires (PS/2) have a made a disappearing in the year 2008. These days, USB keyboard are widely used. Here is a vintage Compaq keyboard from the year 1997. Compaq keyboards back in the past are quite troublesome as not all models can be compatible for non-Compaq desktop. Back in the past when buying old computer keyboard, you will not forget that it always comes with a CD for instructions and the driver for the installation of the keyboard software (For older PC)

Vintage Compaq computer monitor

Image
For computer users, I bet that some of you may grew up using computer monitor that looks exactly like this. I was one of them who use this kind of old monitor before for gaming. I always remember the brightness of this monitor is super killing bright and that you have to rest your eyes are using it for quite some time. This monitor is made in 1997 in China for Compaq Malaysia. Besides the monitor, Compaq computer accessories are quite troublesome as you may need a driver to install their software. Mostly Compaq devices in the past are only compatible with their own brand items. This monitor is surprising still in good working condition despite the yellowish aging stains. Cathode ray monitor are known to consumer a lot of electricity unlike LCD and LED ones. This monitor is about 6.7 Kilograms in weight. This Compaq monitor is able to support Window 7 computer without any problems so far, but I have tested on Windows 10 yet. If you are a retro computer gamer, this item is highly

Vintage Nestle Container from the 70s

Image
Those who are born in the 70s, will find these items familiar. Without fail they will see their parents or grandparents scooping coffee from these old Nescafe glass containers. In fact I have 2 variants of these Nescafe glass container. I have the older ones on the right and the much newer ones of the bottom. I am not really sure whether this sticker is originally pasted there or some of the other adventurous kids pasted it there before I could do so. When I was young, I enjoy peeling off the stickers on these glass containers and stick them everywhere around the house.

Vintage High Stool

Image
Old school stools like this kind are real collectibles and bonus comes in when the stools are in great condition.  It was my mum's favorite stool back then when she was a little girl. She can recall many clear memories of her climbing up the stool and falling down from it. She can recall that this stool acts like a fortress or a small house to her back then.  I was laughing out loud when she shared her happy and funny moments that she had with this stool. More about this stool, it is made from real hardwood solid stool made in the 50s era. On top of the surface of the stool, there is a green formica wood that my grandfather decided to add on top of it for beauty looks or not it would be a plain wooden dark brown stool. This stool is very solid and heavy in weight. This piece is very beautiful and it is worth keeping and using it.

Vintage Horlicks Jar

Image
This Horlicks Jar is from the late 70s and it is a complementing gift from Horlicks during that time. Horlicks normally will use this tactic by giving out free items to attract customer to buy their products. Their free products are range from glass jar to toys. At the bottom of the glass jar, there is a repeating moulding of the word "Horlicks" on the glass. My parents have this habit of buying a product because of its free items given. It is quite a large Jar and it is definitely airtight for sure. Good for those collectors who can use it as a dry box to store items. The word "Horlicks" can be seen clearly on top of the cap
